PR Bonanza for Terrorists

President Obama says there will be inquiries by Congress into the Fort Hood massacre perpetuated by Islamic radical and butcher Malik Nadal Hassan.

Quoting the President:

“…all of us should resist the temptation to turn this tragic event into the political theatre that sometimes dominates the discussion here in Washington”.

Uh, excuse me, but what does the President think will happen when the mastermind of 9/11, Kalid Sheik Mohammed, among others held at Guantanamo Bay, goes on trial in civilian, not military court? The “confessed” terrorist will be afforded the rights of an American citizen, in the city where more than two-thousand innocent people perished in the fiery hell of the twin towers collapse. Does the President not think THAT will turn into political theatre? Political theatre that allows Kalid Sheik Mohammed to blast America and glorify his horrendous ideology?

But Mr. Obama wants the world, the Arab world in particular, to like America.

Well, I’m sure when the 9/11 mastermind and other terrorists get their civilian trials and when the President finally shuts down the state of the art Guantanamo Bay prison, Islamic terrorists the world over will say, “Gee, aren’t those Americans magnanimous? Why don’t we emulate their democracy and stop slaughtering them and our fellow Mulims?”

Civilian trials for the worst type of enemy combatants will make for great PR for terrorists and a greater recruiting tool than Guantanamo ever was.
